Aberley House is part of the famous Beach Lawn terrace overlooking Liverpool Bay at Waterloo. Number thirteen was owned by Sir Thomas Ismay, the founder of the White Star Line. Further down the terrace is the house of Captain Edward Smith, the captain of the Titanic. The terrace was built in 1866 and has strong historical links with the Port of Liverpool. On the beach in front of the house is “Another Place” by Antony Gormley, arguably one of the most iconic art installations in the world.
Jonathan & Yasmin moved in to Aberley House in 2018 and set about renovating , restoring, decorating and furnishing the huge house. With a large extended family and an ambition to open a Boutique Bed & Breakfast, Aberley House was the perfect property and combined with Jonathan’s background in Interior Design and Yasmin’s flair for styling the results are spectacular.
